TDI Extended Range Diver
This course provides training and experience required to competently utilize air for dives up to 55 metres / 180 feet that requires staged decompression, utilizing nitrox mixtures or oxygen during decompression. The objective
of this course is to train divers in the proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards of deep air diving to a maximum of 55 metres / 180 feet utilizing nitrox mixtures or oxygen for staged decompression.
This course consists of theoretical components, gear setup and critique and a minimum of 4 training dives.

Course fee includes rental of 2 Stage Cylinders + 2 sets of Stage rigging.
Course does NOT include any blends of Nitrox/O2, this will be charged at the end of your course separately, based on usage.

1. Primary cylinder(s), cylinder volume appropriate for planned dive and student gas consumption
Note: Independent and isolated back-mounted doubles, are allowed to be used.
Depth gauge and automatic bottom timer and / or dive computer
Back gas regulators
Primary and alternate 2nd stage required on all primary cylinders
Submersible pressure gauges are required on all primary cylinders
Buoyancy compensator device(s) (BCD) adequate for equipment configuration
2 Line cutting devices
Ascent reel with lift bag /surface marker buoy
a. Adequate for maximum planned depth
b. Adequate lift and size for the dive environment
Oxygen (O2) analyzer; may be supplied by the instructor
Exposure suit adequate for the open water environment
- 2 Oxygen clean regulator, suitable for mixtures above 40% O2
- Spare mask
